Deluxe White Bread


Ingredients
:
4 1/2 cup water
7 tsp salt
generous 1/3 cup butter flavoring shortening
12 cups bread flour
1/3 cup sugar
4 1/2 tsp (2 pkgs) rapid rise yeast

Method:
Combine all ingredients except flour. Add flour gradually and mix until doughy. Knead for 10 minutes. Let rise until twice it's original size, in a greased bowl. Punch down and knead again.  Divide into 3 sections, form to fit loaf pans. Press into greased pans, flip to expose greased top, then press to fit again. Let rise again. Bake 325° F. for 1 hour. Turn from pans onto cooling racks, and grease all crusts with shortening to soften, otherwise, crusts will be hard when cool.  Yield: 3 loaves.
