Grandma Checketts Apple Pie

 Ingredients:

everything is approximate

7 Roman Beauty Apples
1/2 c tapioca flour
1 1/3 cup sugar (1 1/2 - 2 cups for Granny Smith Apples)
1 - 2 tsp cinnamon

Method:

  1. Peel and splice apples into thin strips. Rinse.
  2. Mix apples with with sugar and let sit for a few minutes
  3. Add the tapioca flour and cinnamon, mix well.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Cover the pie with another crust and slit holes on top.
  5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes
