Ingredients:
2 cups ground garbanzo beans (fine flour)
2 tsp minced garlic (1 tsp garlic powder)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp hot pepper
2 cups water (or more)
2 cups oil for frying
Method:

1/2 tsp hot pepper
2 cups water (or more)
2 cups oil for frying
Method:
- In a large mixing bowl combine ground chick peas, garlic, turmeric powder, baking powder, flour, and salt.
- Mix in water and hot pepper. Mix until dropping consistency (may require more water).
- Drop into hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and well cooked. Turn frequently.
- Drain on paper towel and serve with chutney.
